Context
Diageo Brands Nigeria Ltd (DBNL) is a newly formed wholly owned Nigerian subsidiary of Diageo Plc. The company has been established to take over the distribution, sales and marketing of the Diageo spirit brands in Nigeria from the current distributor/agent.
Diageo Plc is quoted in the US and London Stock exchanges, and as a subsidiary DBNL is therefore required to comply with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as Diageo’s Control Assessment and Risk Management (CARM) and Local Statutory requirements.
Dimensions:

Market Complexity
The Decision support accountant is required to play a significant leadership role within financial control team, where he will be expected to ensure the back office support from GN is fully integrated and processes are continuously optimised.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
1. Reporting and Analysis
· Report DBN performance to Africa hub through Magnitude reporting
· Accurate and timely preparation of all reports in particular period end magnitude submissions.
· Full completion of annual and periodic statutory returns and the preparation and filing of the statutory accounts.
· Provide detailed analyses of monthly DBN results by key brand and identify drivers of performance
2. Reconcile intercompany accounts
· Ensure no mismatches in intercompany account
· Have full clarity on inter company transactions in SAP between DBN and other trading partners
3. CARM compliance
· Assist Finance Manager in ensuring satisfactory CARM compliance for DBN, this involves performing key reconciliations and controls, and assessing control environment

B.Sc., B.Eng,, HND, HTD, Full Technological Certificate in electrical/electronics with at least 5 years experience in the field of power generating sets, installation, maintenance and repairs and commissioning. Must be computer literate.
Mechanical Engineers
Qualification/requirements same as above
BSS Engineers:
B.Sc. / B.Eng / HND with 5 years experience. OND holders with 8 years experience on the job can also apply. Must be computer literate.
Riggers:
OND holders in engineering discipline with 8 years experience on the job can apply. Degree holders in any discipline but have on the job experience can also apply.
Generator Technicians:
OND, Technical Certificate Holders, Labour Trade Test Stage 1 with not less than 5 years experience on Generators.
Engineering Secretary:
B.Sc / BA / HND with engineering planning and scheduling background. Knowledge of accounting will be an added advantage. Must be fast in the use of computer.
